SHAKE SHACK ATTTTTACK!

I have been waiting for this day.... oh Yes! Shake Shack- Located 1849 Post Road East, Westport CT. Across the street from Home Goods, Walgreens and Bagel King.

Like I have said it before... You can't ever have enough GREAT Burger Places. I love em! Well here we go!

It was a hard decision, what to try first?! Of course you want to try everything, but of course you cannot! Unless you want to feel completely gross afterwards lol

The parking lot was full, which I completely was ready for. (I parked across the street) I actually was ready to be waiting for about 45 minutes to an hour, but to my surprise it really wasn't that bad. They had a couple employees directing traffic and a couple greeting as you walked up. The nice young lady that greeted me as I walked in, gave me a Fresh Pair of Shake Shack Glasses- to totally 80's me out, but yet make me very excited to walk in and try my first experience.

I checked the menu Online and already had the game plan down.... Rule #1 for a First Foodie Experience. ALWAYS BE PREPARED! Study the menu! Nothing is worse then somebody sitting there with a Finger on their lip, wondering.. Oh Gosh... whats good? What do I want? If you want it that bad, then you know what you want! Their menu on the other hand is LARGE, easy to read and You don't have to wait till you get to the counter to see it!

They Offer Burgers, Dogs, Fries, Frozen Custard, Drinks... BEER AND WINE! (this is the hook, line and sinker for a lot of people) 5 guys definitely has a run for it's money! They also offer a variety of Clothing, Ie. Shirts- thought these baby onsies were cute

Now let's get to the Food... I couldn't decide whether I wanted a regular Cheese Burger and a Dog (yes I know, jeez) OR the Shack Stack (which is about equivalent in size the burger and dog)... I went with the Shack Stack. I can get a burger and dog down the street, so I went for something I can't get anywhere else! It contains: 1 Cheese Burger, 1 (delicious) Portobello Mushroom, Deep Fried and Filled with Muenster and Cheddar (OMG OMG) With Lettuce, Tomato and Shack Sauce, which is like a garlicy mayo. One Order or Fries and a Fair Shake, which is vanilla with Coffee... now time for the Food Porn, then i'll tear them apart....

With this Burger... It's a lot of food! You gotta do the Guy Fieri Lean and Bite, it's a Mouth Full! I have to admit, I loved every single piece and said OMG after every bite... but.. It's a lot of food (for me at least) I enjoyed the Mushroom and Burger together, the taste of each one was outstanding, but I am curious to see how they stand alone. The Crispiness of the Mushroom with the Burger was a great mix. The fries, were wonderful... I love Crispy Fries and they hit the spot! The Shake.. I gotta say. I found my most favorite shake today. Vanilla and Coffee is mm mm GOOOD and it's small size is perfect to match that Giant size Burger! During my next trip, it's strictly HotDogs for me... and I will share after that as well... I guarantee it will be just as good as the burgers... I can't wait ;) I give it 2 Thumbs up, get your ass there! It's a Fun, Delicious Experience and we are all grateful to have one Local!
