Testing, Testing.... Sizes!



So I did a test.  I've made Minis & Regular size and now I wanted to try Large Cupcakes...

Ok, so I love this cake!  Besides there being a TON of eggs in it.  It's the Best Damn Yellow Cake Ever!  I was a little upset that I didn't have a filling for the cakes this size, But I was NOT leaving my house to buy some. 

Kika brought me Raspberries the other night cause she said they looked ready to grub (which they were *yum*), well I wanted to attempt to make a filling or something with them but every recipe I searched for, called for Frozen ones... BOO!  So I decided to just test Sugaring some Raspberries and then placing them on the BEST DAMN VANILLA ICING EVER! lol I am not one for just Straight Vanilla.  As a matter of fact, I hated it!  I always thought, who likes just plain vanilla cake and vanilla icing? B O R I N G... well Not these actually.  This Vanilla cake and Icing Paired together is Bliss.  The cake is Moist and the Icing is a Light fluffy addition to them.  Which next time, there is going to be a raspberry filling...I can taste it now.. My mouth is watering. damn... lol **Attention all you Gluten Free People... Back away from these cupcakes... the cake and Icing are Jam packed with Gluten! lol (Sorry Stace)** I can keep talking about how delicious these damn things are or I can post a pic so you can salivate at them too, Well anywho, Here is the pic! lol 

Oh and... Pardon my Horrible Piping Appearance. I am missing half of my Crew*  Which is my Fav Piping tip, bag, rubber spatula and wisk... which I am completely lost without!  I used my Bear Grylls techniques of the kitchen and faked it till I made it.  But they were damn good... Hope you enjoyed this post as much as I did.. ah well, off to work for now I guess.


Ps, I am a photographer, Maybe I should stop posting "mobile" pics on my blog and really give you something to look at! lol  ***But it's too damn easy***

Cookie Heaven...

First off, My favorite Berry is a Raspberry.  I will eat them fresh, canned, frozen... etc. etc.   Anyway I can get em.  I love them to no end!  So when you place them in a cookie, I get excited.  The Fresh Market, Located in Wesport CT on the Post Road makes these delightful little suckers and I can't help but be bad at times, during lunch and buy a box.  I'll call Kika and brag that I have a box of Raspberry Pillow Cookies sitting on my desk (She called me just in time for me to tell her of my magnificent purchase)

If you like a sugar/butter cookie and you love Raspberry like I do, then these are the cookies for you! Even though at times they like to over bake them just a tiny bit (which makes me frown) but I'll still buy it cause the filling is still the same lol 

I like to eat the semi crispy edges first and then indulge in the thick raspberry preserve middle Which is the best part...

Here is my first shot at Wedding Cakes...  This picture of course was taken during the taste test, I cannot wait to share the Final product with you guys!

I have my sidekick and Handy Dandy Assistant working on the Gum Paste Flowers... They are Amazing! 

I am so blessed to be able to fulfill all these dreams of mine... I will never stop!

I would show you some of the finished flowers but I don't want to ruin the Surprise for the Bride and Groom!

To all of those that know me well, you know that I LOVE to share Local Yummies all the time! If I eat something Delish, it's guaranteed that I will Scream it from a mountain top!

Well, This Bacon Cheeseburger and I have been Dating for quite some time now.  About 5 years actually... I can't put my finger on why It's SO DAMN GOOD but I will tell you this... it's not your regular "American Cheese" Bacon Cheeseburger and it's definitely different from all my other favs.... and there isn't just one Favorite Bacon Cheeseburger either! 


Border Grill is located on 1550 Post Road East in Westport CT. Right next to the Shell Station! 

It's a little lunch shop with a not so over the top menu but perfect for lunch. They mostly serve Tacos, Burritos and such with a couple sandwiches on the menu... I don't know if they cook the patty with the taco meat, but whatever that delightful flavor is, it's damn good!  They don't use your typical American Cheese as a topper either, they mix it up with a Cheddar/Monterey Jack? Shredded cheese mix  (I'm not to sure on the specifics) I also get a side of fries Well Done (I am a well done FF kinda girl) I promise not to steer you wrong!
Tell them the Bacon Cheese Burger and Well Done Fry girl sent you... I bet you the gentleman that owns the place will know who you are talking about.  I Told him how wonderful his burger is! When I walk in, he immediately grabs my bag and knows what I am there for.   Oh and also, Bring cash! no CC's accepted but that's ok!

A marvelous group of ladies and I enjoyed a wonderful day in L.I. this past Saturday! We did a small wine tour for our friends bachelorette and it was perfect!!

We took the ferry into Port Jeff, where our driver met us ;)

We then enjoyed the wonderful taste of some fine wine, Jason's Vineyard was first, then it was Palmers Vineyard and our last stop was Baiting Hollow Vineyard! They were all delightful!!

To Sum Up the Day.... Where else would you rather be?

Fiesta, Fiesta, FIESTA!!!!

This stop is a Must! If you haven't already. 

Fiesta Limena in Norwalk, located on CT ave, across from Best Buy.. I never would have known if my Lovely Sister and Brother in Law didn't fill me in on this amazing meal.

Who loves French Fries, Rice, Pepper Steak and Veggies? I do, I DO! All brought together with a yummy sauce in one plate.. Can I get a High Five for Lomo Saltado?  **HIGH FIVES**  and a side kick for Peruvian Food ;)

It sure is a lot of carbs to intake but it's so so worth it, get ready and dive in cause it's going to put you in a food coma. 

*Some people can't live without this Sauce*... I personally don't care for it...

Pot Luck Mac N Cheese.. He he

Well to start we were a bit hungry and decided to explore my refrigerator. Well with the crazy amounts of shredded cheese located In the drawer it led us to this so called "mac n cheese". I will not mention the different kinds of cheeses we put in it because I wouldn't dare write my name on this! Not that it's horrible... It's just different lol. The Looks may be deceiving!

But all in all... No Bueno!
