Well, This Bacon Cheeseburger and I have been Dating for quite some time now. About 5 years actually... I can't put my finger on why It's SO DAMN GOOD but I will tell you this... it's not your regular "American Cheese" Bacon Cheeseburger and it's definitely different from all my other favs.... and there isn't just one Favorite Bacon Cheeseburger either!
Border Grill is located on 1550 Post Road East in Westport CT. Right next to the Shell Station!
It's a little lunch shop with a not so over the top menu but perfect for lunch. They mostly serve Tacos, Burritos and such with a couple sandwiches on the menu... I don't know if they cook the patty with the taco meat, but whatever that delightful flavor is, it's damn good! They don't use your typical American Cheese as a topper either, they mix it up with a Cheddar/Monterey Jack? Shredded cheese mix (I'm not to sure on the specifics) I also get a side of fries Well Done (I am a well done FF kinda girl) I promise not to steer you wrong!
Tell them the Bacon Cheese Burger and Well Done Fry girl sent you... I bet you the gentleman that owns the place will know who you are talking about. I Told him how wonderful his burger is! When I walk in, he immediately grabs my bag and knows what I am there for. Oh and also, Bring cash! no CC's accepted but that's ok!
